On March 24th 2010 New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, visited Cypress Hills-Fulton St. Senior Center along with a contingent of his staff, the press/media to make a plea for everyone in the city to participate in the 2010 Census.

Mayor Mike made a public press/media presentation in the ballroom with many of our members in attendance. The presentation was followed by a series of photo-ops of the mayor with staff and members of the center, a brief tour and a closed Q&A session with the press.

Needless to say, the mayor and his staff were impressed with the center and made numerous comments indicating that Cypress Center was the best senior center they had ever seen.

Here are some pictures of the event.
