Special Performances

On June 15^th Special performances, sponsored by Councilman Erik Martin Dilan and The Brooklyn Arts Council, started a run at the center. The series kicked off with a rousing concert by the Dixie Rascals in the ballroom, and continued with a variety of performers offering entertainment from a wide variety of artistic influence. The lineup of performances included Dixieland Jazz, Korean Dance, Andean Music, African Music & Dance, Modern Percussion Music, Polynesian Dance and Chinese Theatre performances. Audience participation was part of most of the events.
